The spring edition of the DTR Endurance Challenge, part of the Trail Runner Magazine Trophy Series, covering four distances at the beautiful Jonathan Dickinson State Park, in Hobe Sound, FL.

Along the run, participants will experience scenic overlooks, creek crossings, and wildlife in 13 natural communities, including sand pine scrub, pine flat woods, mangroves, and river swamps turning the race into a complete natural adventure.

Most of the course runs on beautiful single track trails winding throughout this wild and scenic park, where you’ll encounter the famous Dunes of Heaven (13.1, 50K) and Dunes of Hell (50K).

South Florida’s toughest 50k just got tougher. Together with the Dunes of Heaven, the course now consists of the Dunes of Hell, steep rolling dunes of sugar sand, that will make your legs melt.

We Proudly Support The Friends of Jonathan Dickinson State Park

The Friends of Jonathan Dickinson State Park, Inc. is a Citizen Support Organization (CSO) whose function is to serve as a source of financial support for the many physical needs the park has that are not funded by the state. The Friends are a non-profit organization that assists park management in meeting the natural and cultural resource management objectives established for the park. 

RULES:

• 50Kers Must Carry at least 8oz hydration device (handheld or hydration pack)
  *****Aid stations will be fully stocked with water, fruits, P&J, Cliff shots and bars, salt tabs, and ice.
• Cutoff Time: 8 hours
• Leave No Trace (unlike road races we do not permit that you throw anything on the floor) please throw your trash in aid station area only. If race official catches you throwing garbage in other zones this will give you an automatic DNF.
• Last Rule: Have fun on the beautiful trails of JDSP.
