THE DTR FULL MOON NIGHT TRAIL RUN

Join us for the fourth annual DTR Night Trail Running Challenge! But this time we’re taking it down to MIAMI! The OWL is flying down south to Florida’s largest urban park, the Oleta River State Park where runners will enjoy 10 miles of beautiful mangrove forest preserves, sandy beaches and challenging single trails of amazing native South Florida plants and wildlife at NIGHT.

SAFETY

We employ the same safety procedures for our ULTRA-TRAIL events, including complete aid stations, experienced trail-running volunteers and full medical and emergency team.

Bright colored apparel, flashlights or headlamps are REQUIRED.

There is nothing more challenging, exciting and satisfying as trail running at night, and, there is no better event than DTR Full Moon Endurance Challenge MIAMI.

SCHEDULE

The first wave will take off at 8 pm, followed by Wave 2 at 8:10 pm.

OLETA RIVER STATE PARK

Florida’s largest urban park, Oleta River State Park is located on Biscayne Bay in the lively Miami metropolitan area. Although it offers a variety of recreational opportunities, the park is best known for miles of off-road trails, ranging from novice trails to challenging trails for experienced runners & cyclists. Along the Oleta River, at the north end of the park, a large stand of beautiful mangrove forest preserves native South Florida plants and wildlife completing this amazing natural area. Swimming from a 1,200-foot sandy beach and saltwater fishing are also popular activities.
